I continued to add my own spin on the virtual color mixer example from earlier. I added a few more inputs onto my breadboard, which included a different type of potentiometer and a button, which I haven’t gotten to work correctly as of yet.
My main area of focus was to become more familiar with jitter functions inside of Max so I could have my visual presentation alongside my synth a bit more immersive.
I watched about half of a youtube video walking through some basic 3d jitter visuals. Using jit.noise object and a couple of others feeding back on itself to produce some interesting visuals.
After getting that to work nicely, all I did was take the feed of certain arduino inputs to control attributes for the jit visuals. For example my LDR controlled the Y axis zoom and my joystick controlled the amount of interpolation etc.
Still in the process of figuring the issue I am having with getting my button’s 0 1 values to show up in Max. I am hoping to get this to control the main volume output as an on/off push button.
Will be posting with more detail in the next week coming with where I end up!
